Review: Mediheal Black Chip Circle Point Brightening Mask

I talked about Mediheal Aqua Chip Moisturizing Mask in my last review, and how I love its unique acupressuring benefits with those little plastic "chips". Today, we are gonna focus on this brightening version from the same line, and how it differs from the Aqua one as a whole.

The pink packaging symbolizes skin brightening properties. It is meant to improve swelling of the face (or more like better blood circulation) to give you a more vitalized and dewier look.

The mask comes in a thin and soft cotton sheet. It is drenched in clear watery essence with a nice floral scent. On the sheet, it has little "chips" allocated to each acupressure points on your face. Each point has its specific functions and pressing it will help "activate" those functions.

The accupressure points are not the same as the one we see in the Aqua Chip. From A to F:

INGREDIENTS ANALYSIS

Main ingredients here are niacinamide, several anti-aging peptides, willow bark extract and some skin brightening and moisturizing extracts. A good load of stuffs with skin brightening, elasticity-improving and skin repairing properties. Well, honestly speaking, I am not that particular about the ingredients of a sheet mask. I am more interested in the acupressure chips here that can probably do more than just force feeding my skin surface with nutrients.

PERFORMANCE

I need to use more to tell about its skin brightening properties. So far my skin does appear brighter due to the willow bark extract inside. It also looks slightly firmer and more revitalized. I also like how non-sticky this is compared to the Aqua Chip Mask.

CONCLUSION

It's nice to have innovative sheet mask from time to time. I never thought someone would combine acupressuring technique with sheet mask, and it happened! Korean beauty industry is such a competitive and fun industry. Consumers will be attracted to its fast-paced and skintertaining technology. I really look forward to its next surprise!

Pros:
- clear, watery essence that is hydrating and non-sticky at all
- innovative and effective acupressure technology

Cons:
- inaccessible here
