Review: Jayjun Multi-Vita Tone Up Mask

This was claimed to be a skin soothing and brightening mask made of multivitamins. It contains vitamin C, E, B3, B5 and B6 to brighten up and even up your skin tone. And it is one of the few Jayjun masks that only come in single sheet!

The mask is actually pretty simple. You tear it up to reveal the firm, so-called highly adhesive cupro fabric mask sheet inside. The mask is soaked in watery and non-sticky essence. There isn't any noticeable scent to it whatsoever.

My only problem with this mask is the material. It feels heavy on the skin. Softer parts of my skin like nasal bridge feel kinda uncomfortable when I am putting this on. As such, I have to take this off 10 minutes or so later.

INGREDIENTS ANALYSIS
(CosDNA)

Despite its seemingly simple packaging, this mask actually has a good deal of real stuffs in it! Zhi mu herb is added to plump up and volumize the skin. It is commonly used in Chinese medicine to clear up "heaties" and nourish yin of your body, and is particularly effective at treating inflammation and relieve dryness of the skin! Burdock root extract, a notable pores controlling and skin firming antioxidant is also added here. It can relieve scaly skin conditions and reduce flakiness of the skin. Honeysuckle, propolis, niacinamide, and so on are also added to soothe and pamper your skin. Then we have multivitamins like vitamin B2 (softening and humectant), vitamin C (brightening), vitamin E (soothing, anti-oxidizing), and so on. Finally, macadamic seed oil, shea butter, sodium hyaluronate and so on are added to moisturize and nourish the skin.

PERFORMANCE

It provides a lightweight moisture to my skin. My skin appears brighter and hydrated after using. I didn't notice much of a soothing effect, maybe because I was too busy thinking about how heavy this is on my nasal bridge and how unfitting it is to my skin. 10 minutes is certainly not enough to get its full benefit.

CONCLUSION

I don't have much to talk about this mask. Like I said, despite its sexy list of ingredients, its heavier-than-usual sheet mask prohibits me from enjoying the full benefit offered by it. I also find the sheet mask not as adhesive and fitting as its claim hence some parts of my skin is not covered. These are all personal reasons that are subjected to individual preferences and face size hence you should definitely check it out before deciding further!
