Suitable for: normal, oily, and combination skin
Rating: ★★★★ (full review) (insufficient UVA1 protection)

L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50+ PA++++


Protection: UVA1, UVA2, UVB (with mexoryl)
Texture: gel cream (with alcohol, slight white cast)
Application: takes time to get absorbed, leaving a moist and tacky finish
Price: RM 45 / 30ml
Suitable for: normal to dry skin
Rating: ★★★★★

Loveisderma UV Shield SPF 50+++



Protection: UVA1, UVA2, UVB
Texture: watery liquid (no alcohol, foundation finish)
Application: easily absorbed by the skin, can be cakey
Price: around RM 50
Suitable for: all skin types who wants foundation in his/her sunscreen
Rating: ★★★☆ (can't use it everyday) (cannot apply adequate amount)

Mamonde Calendula Everyday Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++



Protection: UVA1, UVA2, UVB
Texture: water splash lotion (no alcohol, with white cast)
Application: lightly absorbed by the skin, leaving a moist and slightly tacky finish)
Price: around RM 50
Suitable for: normal to dry skin
Rating: ★★★☆ (full review) (tinted texture may be bio-cumulative)

Mamonde Water Drop Sun Jelly SPF30 PA++



Protection: UVA2, UVB
Texture: watery lotion (no alcohol, no white cast)
Application: fast absorption, leaves a soft finish
Price: around RM 60
Suitable for: all skin types, not suitable for outdoor activities
Rating: ★★★★ (full review) (inadequate UVA1 protection)

Protection: UVA1, UVA2, UVB (with zinc dioxide)
Texture: powdery liquid (with alcohol, slight white cast)
Application: fast absorption, leaves a semi-matte finish
Price: around RM 50
Suitable for: combination, oily and sensitive skin
Rating: ★★ (full review) (drying, gives me headache)

Nanowhite Omega Day Shield SPF50 PA++


Protection: UVA1, UVA2, UVB (with avobenzone but the avobenzone might be unstable)
Texture: emollient cream (alcohol derivatives, with white cast)
Application: takes time to absorb, leaves a tacky and papery finish
Price: around RM 30
Suitable for: normal to dry skin
Rating: ☆ (full review) (unpleasant consistency, lack of stabilizing filter for avobenzone)

Texture: slightly powdery lotion (alcohol derivatives, slight white cast)

Neogence Mineral Soothing UV Protection Emulsion SPF 30 PA+++

Application: rich, leaves a papery and sticky finish
Price: around RM 100
Suitable for: sensitive and normal-to-oily skin
Rating: ☆ (it gives me headache, texture almost impossible to be absorbed)

Protection: N/A
Texture: feathery light, barely noticeable powdery mist (no white cast)
Application: the mist settles on the skin nicely
Price: RM 69
Suitable for: all skin types, especially those who stay outdoor all the time
Rating: ★ (spray may be toxic for the lungs, not sure if it is effective)

Texture: gel cream (with alcohol, no white cast)
Application: easily absorbed by the skin, leaves a moist and soft finish
Price: around RM 50
Suitable for: all skin type, especially those who stay indoor often
Rating: ★★★★ (lovely consistency but insufficient UVA1 protection)

Application: easily absorbed by the skin, dries down soft but silicony)

Suitable for: normal to dry skin, aging skin
Rating: ★★★☆ (full review) (dislike the silicony finish - feels cheap)

Here ends my overview of 36 different sunscreen or sun care products I have tried in the past 2-3 years. Seeing that this has dragged quite long, I will continue talking about the differences between these sunscreens in term of consistency and CP value in my Sunscreen 301. I will also talk about how I use these sunscreens to prevent the darkening of my freckles and sun spots as well as my holy grail sunscreens thus far.
