Review: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream

I bought this Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream from Hermo during their sales event, as a good compliment to my other green tea products (seed serum, balancing skin, and balancing lotion). I often use skincare from the same series to find out whether or not they work for me, especially for new products that I'd never used before. Mixing products are not necessarily bad, depending on your needs and skin conditions, but it may make it hard to identify which improves your skin and which doesn't so I tend to buy the same sets of products from the same brand.

Most Innisfree's cream comes in a garden pot design. This might not be good for hygienic reason (excessive exposure to the open air), but really fits the brand eco ideology.

Review: Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Toner and Emulsion

The first Korean cosmetic brand that I bumped into was Nature Republic, which opened up my door into K-beauty. So I had a special feeling about this brand although it was no longer my favourite. In fact, some people told me that Nature Republic is not popular in Korea but more popular among the westerners. The first Nature Republic product I encountered was its best-selling aloe vera soothing gel. I was attracted to its fresh texture and sweet scent so much that I stepped into the store and explored its other products, which is how I found this Super Aqua Max line. I couldn't get enough of the smell of this so I grabbed their toner + emulsion during their 2+1 sales. Nature Republic Malaysia had year-round sales although their prices are higher than most online retailers so you can actually get good deals at the local stores if you follow their news.
